Kylesku - our second property
Kylesku sleeps up to 11 people in six bedrooms. It provides a relaxing and comfortable retreat in the heart of Keswick - right opposite the conference centre for those interested in the popular Keswick Convention. There are two downstairs living rooms, a lovely long patio with a built-in barbecue, a well equipped kitchen and a wooden-floored dining room.
The dining room has a lovely solid pine table large enough to seat everyone, and wood floors.
Kylesku has two living rooms downstairs, each with a TV and comfortable seating. The wooden-floored front living room also has a video and a DVD player and an inviting gas fire.
The bright kitchen is equipped with a fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, electric hob and two electric ovens, microwave and a range of kitchen utensils.
The rear living room provides a cosy retreat with its own TV, and looks out onto the colourful patio. The hi-fi, with tape, CD and radio facilities, can be used in any of the rooms that suit, and a separate radio is available to move around the house as you please.
As well as providing patio furniture we have built in a barbecue for you to use on those long summer evenings.
We also provide an electric dryer, as well as drying racks for the radiators and an outside washing line, to give you lots of options when you have to recover from a traditional Lake District mountain soaking.
The six bedrooms - two twin, one double, one family (double and single), two single - are all comfortably furnished, all bar one having its own hand basin. There are three bedrooms and one bath / shower room on each floor, with additional toilets on the ground and first floors.
The large family bedroom, which also has its own ensuite shower, is a particular bonus for families with young children, and we can provide a cot and highchair at no extra cost if you need them. There are lovely views over Keswick towards the mountains from the bright and airy upstairs bedrooms.
